I can't believe that it is New Years Eve already!! The holiday's flew by once again. I hope everyone had a Very Merry Christmas!!
I guess I will just get right to it. The best part of November was...Chad coming home from Iraq!! That is the best present that we received! We got to stay at the Wolf Lodge in Kansas City when he got home. It has a huge indoor waterpark. The girls loved it! Then on to Thanksgiving. The Wilson family all got together, except for Dad, and had a wonderful time. Wade and Jenny brought a Turduckin (not sure of the spelling) to eat. That is a chicken inside of a duck inside of a turkey...TURDUCKIN!! It was quite good. Thanks Wade and Jenny, and Mom for all the great food! We really had a great time. Two weeks later, we celebrated Christmas with my family, the Willards. We went to Minnesota for a long weekend. My whole family, except for my Niece Jennie and her boyfriend Darrin, were there. Steve and Robyn hosted our Christmas feast this year. It was wonderful!! You really did a great job Robyn! Thanks! We just missed the ice strom in Wentzville by one day. Lots of power outages and damage in our area. Good thing we were in the greatest place in the world...yes...Minnesota!! We stayed very busy the rest of December, between Cheerleading, Ballet, shopping, parties and regular day to day activities, it was quite busy! Kate` had a great time counting the days down to Christmas on the Advent calander. 1st thing she did every morning. On Christmas Eve, we went to Church and Kate` sang with here class. I swear that my girls were the cutest in the whole wide world that night!! At bedtime, Kate` could hardly contain herself. She was sooooooo excited. But, she said to me, " I have to go to sleep, or Santa won't come". So at least she didn't fight bedtime! Christmas morning was a blast! There is nothing better than seeing the excitement on your childrens faces!! I am sure that Chad and I actually enjoyed watching them more than they had fun opening the gifts. Kelsey started getting into tearing the paper after a couple of gifts, but she would still rather take the lights and ornaments off of the tree. Monster... Moose still really gets into Christmas. He wants to open everyone's presents. He gets more excited than anyone!
All in all, we had a great Christmas and hope to have an even better New Year! To all of our family and friends out there...we hope you have a healthy, happy and safe New Year! Hope to see you all very soon!
Love,
The Wilson's
