January 2007

Well, January came and went like a flash. We took Kate` and Kelsey to their very first New Years Eve Bash, Kate` had a great time. She got to drink "champagne" and blow up some confetti shooter things, she thought that was great! Kate` has also started ballet and tap dancing again. Her teacher says she is the best in the class and asked if we would like to go to the next level class. We tried it and she did good, but she didn't like the girls as much, so we are staying in her original class. She is doing so good! Kelsey started eating solids this month. She didn't like cereal much but loves applesauce and pears. Banana's made her puke, so we are holding off on those. We also lost a member of our home in January. Grandpa Wilson left for Afghanistan. We truly miss him! Kate` keeps talking like Grandpa will be back any day now. Little does she know.....how sad!
Kelsey had her 4 month check-up and she is a little porker!! She weighed 15lbs 6oz!!! Her length was 26 1/4 inches, very long! We were also referred to a pediatric dermatologist for a hemangioma under the skin on her head. As of right now, they are not going to do anything about it unless it changes in appearance or grows. We also registered Kate` for kindergarten. She will be going to Immanuel Lutheran (where she goes to preschool), and it is all day kindergarten. On the way to the school, I seriously thought about turning around and going home. I just don't know how I am going to deal with my little girl being gone all day!! Well, that is all for now.
