Well December has come and gone. It was a very busy month for us. We did a lot of traveling, visiting with family and had lots of fun! We started the month out by going on our yearly trip to Big Cedar Lodge near Branson, MO with some friends of ours. We happened to be there the coldest days of the month. The highs were only in the low 20's. I don't think that I have ever been so cold at Silver Dollar City in my life! The rest of the month has been in the 50's and 60's, just our luck! The girls also got a special surprise, one of Santa's elves came to our cabin and read them a bedtime story. They thought that was the greatest!! A week after we got home from Branson, we left for Minnesota. At least the weather there was also unseasonably warm. We had a great time visiting my family. The whole family came to my parents home for "our" Christmas. It was so great to see everyone!! It was the first time that most of them had ever seen Kelsey! Kate` had a great time with her cousins. She was worn out every night. (But so were Mom and Dad). The day we left Minnesota, Chad got the flu. Needless to say, he didn't enjoy the ride home. The girls did great though!! A few days after we returned from Minnesota, the Clark's (Chad's sister and family) came to St. Louis for the Wilson Christmas. This was the first time meeting Brooke (born 22 days before Kelsey) for us! She sure is a cutie!! We had such a wonderful week with everyone. We sure missed Heath though, he is in Iraq and will not be home until the end of January sometime. On the 27th, the "girls", ( Mom Wilson, Jenny, Lori and I) got to go see the "Trans-Siberian Orchestra" perform. WOW what an awesome show!! If you ever get the chance to see them, I highly recommend it!! Thanks Mom Wilson!
Well, that is our December summary. It was a great month. Thanks to all who were part of it. Also thanks to Dad Wilson for taking care of our oldest child (Moose) all of the times we were out of town this month. I am planning on updating my blog at the end of every month to let you know what has been going on with us, I hope I stick to it....New Years resolutions are always hard to keep...but I will try really hard! Have a wonderful and prosperous New Year and we love you all!!
